Position: Remedy Expert (full time employee)
Company: AH Computer Consulting

Job description:
- Remedy development and administration experience is a must for this  
position.
- Minimum three years of Remedy development using BMC Remedy ARS  
solutions based on customer requirements, including (but not limited  
to) customization of Remedy COTS applications (Help Desk, ITSM suite  
etc.).
- Create workflow, based on business practices, using active links,  
filters, escalations, guides etc.
- Design and implement interfaces between Remedy and other systems  
(via Remedy DSO, WebServices, scripts etc.)
- DSO development experience and troubleshooting is a must.
- Maintain, tune and troubleshoot Remedy ARS, Mid-Tier, Email and DSO
- Periodically format and import data files from other systems for use  
in Remedy ARS
- Install additional Remedy servers as needed
- Assist IT staff with databse and network configuration of Remedy systems
- Create and maintain user accounts, category-type-item  
classifications, groups, auto-summaries etc.
- Monitor Remedy servers' file system and database capacity, license  
usage and availability, and network connectivity
- Create and maintain application and system documentation (e.g.  
training guides, implementation plans, flowcharts)
- Respond to system incidents and outages as needed (including those  
outside of normal business hours)
- Assist users with Remedy client software, report generation, macro  
creation etc.
- Adhere to software development life cycle, CMMI practices and  
customer business decisions
- Assist in configuration management of Remedy development environment

Skills Required:
- Minimum 5 years experience building custom applications on the AR  
System platform. Specific knowledge of ARS 6.0 or greater required.
- Thorough understanding of AR System logging features and capabilities.
- Thorough understanding of the command line capabilities of the tools  
provided with the AR System platform.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Ability to work with limited supervision manage multiple tasks  
simultaneously.
- Ability to work closely with a diverse group of individuals.
